Automation Displays' fifteen-point pulse/latch card uses plug-on crimp
connectors. All connections to the card are made via two 18-pin
connectors. The card accepts momentary
or maintained dry-contact inputs. The inputs are latched so that
indicators (not included) remain illuminated even if the input clears.
Field input wiring requires sixteen wires: a single wire for each input, and a single common wire. This common wire can be +24 volts DC (use the high-true board) or DC ground (use the low-true board). A common alarm output is provided to drive a sonalert or common alarm indicator. Inputs are provided for separate RESET and SILENCE switches. These two inputs, as well as the common-alarm output, can be jumpered between multiple E769-50 boards for systems requiring more than fifteen points. The circuit operates on 24 volts DC. Please specify high-true or low-true inputs when ordering. The input signal polarity is also used to drive the indicators. For example, a low-true input will apply a low signal to the indicator to turn it on. The board size is 5 inches (127 mm) by 7-1/4 inches (184.2 mm). It requires approximately two inches (50.8 mm) of depth for mounting. A similar circuit (8586-710) with screw terminals for inputs and solder turrets for outputs is also available. |
