40-Point Relay Output Board

(40) normally-open dry contacts are each available on removeable screw terminal connectors. Each of the five output connectors has sixteen screw terminals for access to eight dry contacts. This board uses a three-wire interface (clock, data, and strobe) to control the (40) relay contacts. It is most often used in systems with the Z-Card controller.

The relays are Hamlin #HE3621A0500 reed relays individually rated for a switching current of 0.5 amps and a carry current of 1.2 amps. An indicator LED is provided next to each relay to provide quick visual indication of the status of each coil (on or off).
