Automation Displays Z-Card is a high quality four-layer PC board used
in a variety of annunciator applications. Required power is five
volts DC @
250 milliamps. The Z-Card includes two serial ports (selectable as
RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485) with transient
suppression and diagnostic LEDs, a parallel port, and 80 points of I/O
suitable for driving LEDs or scanning switches. Price listed is for
the Z-Card with existing firmware applications, including Omron
Host-Link, GE RTU, Modicon Modbus ASCII, Johnson Controls N2 bus, and
generic ASCII interface. New firmware development is extra. Expand
I/O with the 8171-80 I/O card or the
I/O card with resistors. All of the Z-Card's operation is controlled by an EPROM program memory chip. If no specific program is specified, the board is delivered with the EPROM socket empty. ADI keeps archives of past applications, so if you are ordering a Z-Card to replace an existing board, enter the EPROM label information in the custom information area below. That way, the Z-Card will be programmed and tested to the original specification. |
